1. What kdermap is

kdermap publishes information about the Korean electricity market: news summaries, market statistics, explanations of rules, and a map of grid capacity. It is provided for general information only.

2. Not advice

Nothing on kdermap is investment, financial, legal, tax or engineering advice, or an offer or recommendation to buy, sell or build anything. Make your own assessment and take professional advice before acting.

3. Data as is

Most figures come from public sources such as Korea Power Exchange (KPX), KEPCO and Korean government publications, and from our own calculations on them. We name sources where we can. Data may be delayed, revised by the source, incomplete or wrong. kdermap is provided "as is", without warranty of accuracy, completeness or availability.

4. Your use

You may read, link to and quote short extracts with attribution ("Source: kdermap") and a link.

You may not, without our written permission:

  • copy, republish or redistribute substantial parts of kdermap, or sell access to it;
  • collect content or data with automated tools beyond normal browsing or our published feeds;
  • use kdermap content to build or train a competing database or service;
  • interfere with the sites or try to access parts that are not public.

5. Third-party content

Summaries of news link to the original publishers, whose rights remain theirs. Original source data remains subject to the source's own terms.

6. Accounts and email

Email updates and any account are governed by our Privacy Notice. We may suspend access that breaches these terms.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, kdermap is not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the sites or their content.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the current version. Continued use means you accept the update.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
